Practice Terms and Information

We aim to offer a high standard of patient care and foot treatments in every respect.

The Podiatrists at our practice are qualified in accordance with The College of Podiatry and are registered with The Health and Care Professions Council.

Our Podiatrists participate in Continuing Professional Development and keep up to date with current practice.

The practice is attentive to maintaining health and safety requirements and hygienic treatment areas.
We have on-site sterilization facilities and use single use sterile blades for every treatment.

It is appreciated if patients can respect cleanliness when attending their appointments.

Nail Polish must be removed from toe nails prior to the appointment if you require nail care.

We are required to ask you to complete a Patient Details/Medical History form.
Health details and medication may influence your foot health and the treatment we offer you.

In accordance with data protection the information you provide will be kept confidential to the practice unless you agree for us to disclose any information with another party. Photography and recordings are not permitted in the treatment areas unless by formal consent of persons concerned.

Patients who are not yet 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at each visit. If another representative will be in attendance this must be consented prior to the appointment. If a patient has a disability which would make it difficult for them to attend their appointment alone, it is appreciated if someone could accompany them.

Receipts can be issued for making claims in respect of health insurance schemes.

If the treatment you need is more than can be reasonably completed in the allocated appointment time an additional charge may be made or another appointment required to complete the treatment.

We aim to give you a reminder of your appointment a few days prior to the date.
Please advise us if you would prefer to receive this by telephone, email or not all.

If you cannot attend an appointment please inform us as soon as possible, as it is practice policy to make a charge for none attendance or cancellation within 24 hours, and future appointments will require advance deposit.

We keep a holding list for anyone waiting for a cancellation appointment.

Payment for treatment must be made at the time of the appointment.

Some appointments may require an advance deposit.
